Windows can go suck a dick

I thought I disabled windows updates, might have reenabled them for security updates and forgot to turn them back off, but I turned on my computer this morning and found windows copilot preview just sitting in my taskbar. No way to remove it. No way to opt out. It just forced itself onto my computer. I had to go to the registry to turn it off. I had to use this command to turn it off,

				reg add HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsCopilot /v TurnOffWindowsCopilot /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

If I can run all of my videogames on Linux, I absolutely would. I already learned that Quartus, a program I use a lot in my major, works perfectly fine on it. Honestly, the only game that I know for sure doesn't like to work is Destiny 2 and that's because of it's anticheat.
I need to learn much more about how Linux works, but I already run most of my commands through WSL (thanks spubby) and started to dabble with VIM so looking at what I need to do to use Linux isn't that intimidating. I like the idea of my computer always being a project (I'm already constantly updating this website) so this is starting to sound like a great idea. I might try booting up Arch on my first computer since it can't run the modern version of windows (it's missing a command in the CPU so it can't run modern windows, and is just laying in storage).
I guess I'm just sick of windows thinking they can do whatever they want to my computer without me agreeing to having it on my machine. I don't even know what copilot does but as long as it has something to so with AI, it is probably trying to get any data it can off my computer.
